About: Azrael is the angel of Death, and one of the few fallen angels allowed back into Heaven. Originally Azrael worked in the library under Duma and temporarily instructed Jophiel in philosophy. He was then assigned to act as Lucifer's secretary up and during the Edenic War. The two developed a close friendship. After the war was over, Azrael was assigned the job of being the angel of Death much to his chagrin. He did the job as he was commanded, but despised it greatly. During the Lucifan War he served as an advisor and general to Lucifer. After the fall, he helped to explore Hell and was involved in the conspiracy to unseat Samael from Hell's throne.

Azrael is the first fallen to achieve redemption. His was a special case that pleaded before the Almighty. God forgave him, and allowed Azrael to rejoin the host, making him the first and only fallen to ever do so. Azrael resumed his post as the angel of Death and now enters names into a computer system of a person and how they died. This allows him to be free of guilt, as he does not kill anyone directly.

Azrael is a quiet, intellectual sort of person who only speaks when he needs to. He tends to balance out Lucifer's loud and brash attitude by thinking through every option and being a calm, resourceful individual.
