Paradis is composed of various stories set in an interpretation of our universe. The stories are all in order. In between are major time differences that occured, such as the creation of the universe or the switch from BC to AD. The function of this section is to archive the comics in chronological order and to provide supplementary material and sneak peaks of what to expect in the comic. Pre-BCE thru BC This refers to the time period before the universe was created, when only Heaven and Hell existed up to the time period of BCE. Most of the history here is covered in a three part story arc entitled Genesis. Nocens Somnium is a super short script about Lucifer when he was a small child as Metatron trained him. It takes place well before the Genesis script ans features Lucifer at the age of 5. Sefer Raziel is a short story about the Book of the Angel Raziel that takes place between the Fall of Man and the Grigori Massacre. Subsidium is a Gabriel-centric storyline that occurs right before the Lucifian War. Psalm 137 is set during the destruction of the first temple. Circa 586 BCE. The Agreement explains how Heaven and Hell came to agree about the redemption of all human souls and of the fallen angels. Circa 39 BCE. Present Day These stories are mainly focused in our current time period, although anything from the first year AD is fair game. Date will be noted in the story notes. Acta Sanctorum is, surprisingly enough, mostly about the archangel Michael in the Roman Empire. Circa 80s. Azazel's Freedom is a short script that tells of the freeing of Azazel from his Earthly prison circa 1664 Modica Amor is a super short that offers an insight to the romantic relationship between Lucifer and Jophiel. Circa 1984. Musica is a Uriel-centric story concerning the archangel's love for jazz piano. Circa 2000 Celestem Armoniam (comic) is a short set in New York City. Gabriel encounters a freed Azazel and demands to know how the fallen angel was freed from his prison under the Earth. Azazel reveals what he can to Gabriel over coffee. Circa 2004 Cicatrice (comic) is a short exploring the relationship between Uriel and Sariel. Psalm 27 is a super short about Gabriel's reaction to the documentry Jesus Camp Circa 2006. Rev 21:2 is a very breif script that is simply a conversation between Michael and Gabriel while they visit the Holy Land. Circa 2007 Fidelis is a breif frame story featuring Sariel, Uriel and Gabriel. Circa 2007. Capulus Cum Silenti is a short conversation piece between Metatron and the Egyptian goddess Isis. Circa 2007. Io Sentia D'ogne Parte Trarre Guai is a humours short about Lucifer's day to day job dealing with the damned. Circa 2008 Il Duomo is a short that is set at the Duomo in Florence. It discusses some of Metatron's past and explores his friendship with Lucifer a little bit more. Circa 2009 A Chantar M’er focuses on the relationship between Uriel and Sariel and some of Sariel's past. Circa 2009. Praesumo is a Lilith centric story about what happens when mortals find out Lilith's true identity. Circa 2010. The Future, Apocolypse and Beyond Stories here are post-apocolyptic and normally contain major End-of-Series spoilers. (You were WARNED.) It is best to read these stories LAST of all. Ora Decoris is a longer story concerning Azazel's freedom being discovered. Circa 2075. Exorcism Here Lucifer and Metatron get invovled with an exorcism and discuss the future of mankind, as it is starting to dwindle. Epilouge is quite simply how Paradis ends. Lucifer and the Fallen's final fate is revealed. |
